Four bids have been submitted for the supply of new computers for the upgrade of the High Court Registry’s data collection, storage and retrieval as part of the Modernization of the Justice Administration System (MJAS) project.
Bids for the project were yesterday opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), in the Ministry of Finance compound. Bids were received from NT Computec ($7,494,780), D.B.A Auto Supply Company ($8,640,000), CCS Guyana Ltd ($7,334,640) and Netcom Computer City ($6,396,300).
Meanwhile, bids were also opened and read for the construction of roads, drainage structures and the installation of pure water distribution networks in regions 1, 2 and 4. The procuring entity for this project is the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA).
The engineer’s estimates for the works to be undertaken are: Region 1 – $ 59,997,674; Region 2 – $99,936,348; and Region 4 – $76,984,698.
A bid for works at Kokerite Hill, in Region 1, was received from Joshi Construction & Transportation Establishment ($66,804,031). For works at Onderneeming, in Region 2, bids were received from B and J Civil Works ($128,990,483); Sattaur Mohammed ($ 84,198,374); Mohammed Ramzan Ali Khan ($86,991,906); and Joshi Construction & Transportation Establishment ($106,698,900). And for works at Cane Grove, East Bank Demerara in Region 4, bids were received from KB & B Contractors ($69,483,924); Imoline Con-struction Inc. ($67,949,252); Linden Holder Inc. ($77,092,895); and Fiuz Hussein Construc-tion Inc. ($130,908,700).
