Dear Editor,
I write to congratulate the 2012 Miss India Worldwide Queen, Guyanese Miss Alana Seebarran. She is a talented beauty who stood out against 34 other contestants from around the world (countries where Indians are settled). The first contestant to represent Guyana at the Miss India Worldwide Pageant was the first runner-up in the 1993 Miss Guyana Diwali Sari Contest, Miss Sandra Khan.
Alana is a beauty/cultural ambassador of this country and Guyanese are proud of her.
Guyana has gained more recognition with Queen Alana Seebarran. I wish to thank the New Guyana Pharmaceutical Corporation Inc (GPC) for sponsoring her.
