The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 1035h today at Front Road, West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, and which resulted in the death of three-year-old Carlyle Moe, of Front Road.
Police say that investigations revealed that the driver of motor car PLL 1652 was driving along the roadway, when it is alleged that the child ran out of a yard and into the path of the vehicle and was struck down. He was taken to the GPHC where he was pronounced DOA.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
