Play in the Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) organized Trophy Stall-sponsored tournament will resume today from 18:30hrs with a double header at the Mackenzie Sports Club hardcourt after a break due to inclement weather.
This evening’s matches will see Amelia’s Ward Jets taking on Half Mile Bulls in the opening game while the Kashif and Shanghai Kings will go up against Wismar Pistons.
Jets, currently in third position, will look to get the better of the fourth-placed Bull while the Kashif and Shanghai Kings, who have won all four of their games, will be looking to make it five straight at the expense of the who are at the bottom of the points table.
Kings will be without their centre Jason Alonzo who has been averaging a double-double of 20 points and 20 rebounds per game during their unbeaten streak.
To add to the Kings’s problems, Steve Neils Jr. and Marvin Hartman have been struggling lately.
