The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) 2011/2012 season will resume today at various grounds after last week-end’s start was postponed owing to the inclement.
The second division competition, which is sponsored by Noble House Seafoods will bowl off at 10:30 hrs with Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) taking on Everest Cricket Club at Muslim Youth Organization (MYO) ground while the Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) will battle Third Class at the GNIC ground.
Gandhi Youth Organization (GYO) will also be in action against the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) at the GYO ground while Vikings Cricket Club will clash with Malteenos Cricket Club at the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) ground.
The GCA will commence its Under-15 competition on April 2.
It also wishes to advise all female cricketers in Georgetown that practice sessions for their competition will begin on March 19 at the MYO ground, Woolford Avenue.
