A woman believed to be destitute died yesterday afternoon in front of the Georgetown Public Hospital where she had been sitting in a semi-dazed state since Saturday.
No physical description was given of the woman. However, one of the vendors outside the hospital said that the woman had not ever been seen in the vicinity before showing up last Saturday.
Vendors said that yesterday afternoon persons noticed that the woman was no longer moving and after checks by hospital officials it was revealed that she was dead.
She is currently at the Lyken Funeral Parlour and up to press time was still unidentified.
