CASTRIES, St Lucia, CMC – Several outstanding former West Indies players will tee off in the Sir Vivian Richards Celebrity Golf Tournament, scheduled for the Cap Estate Golf and Country Club here later this month.
Organisers said the tournament had attracted the likes of Gordon Greenidge, Desmond Haynes, Ian Bishop, Derek Murray, Richie Richardson and West Indies coach Ottis Gibson.
Former Australia fast bowler Geoff Lawson is also expected to take part in the March 24 event which comes one day after the fourth One-Day International between West Indies and Australia at the Beausejour Cricket Ground.
Sir Vivian, an avid golfer, will lead the all-star cast.
The fifth and final ODI will be played the following day.
