Police say they are investigating the murder of Jose Ramon Valenzuela, a Venezuelan national who was found dead at a sports ground in Mabaruma, North West District on Sunday.
According to a police press release issued yesterday, a post-mortem conducted on the 46-year-old man gave the cause of death as asphyxiation due to compression to the neck, compounded by blunt trauma to the head.ย The post-mortem was conducted by Dr. Nehaul Singh.
Police investigations are continuing.
