One of the victims of the Sparendaam shooting two Saturdays ago yesterday afternoon succumbed to his injuries at the Georgetown Hospital.
Hospital officials this morning confirmed that Giovanni Leitch, 21 called ‘Jo Jo’ died around 6pm. Gunmen opened fire on Leitch and his friend Devon Agard called ‘Chucky’ as they were heading to a barbershop in the area. The men were rushed to the hospital where Leitch was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and Agard the ward.
