‘The King is dead, long live the King’

Dear Editor,

One final piece of advice to Karen DeSouza; so long as you follow the pack there is a strong possibility that you may lose your sense of objectivity.

We all follow packs from time to time in our lives, however it is instinct, a feature peculiar to each member of the pack that is critical to the survival of each member.

Knowing the terrain is vital. If a member of the pack is not familiar with the terrain they can stray from the rest of the pack and be devoured by the predator.

In the struggle for survival, credibility become the acquis in determining who leads and moreso, who becomes a member of the pack.

The credibility factor can be useful as it can be destructive whether it has to do with a King and his courtiers, a social activist, a commander, a commissioner or &10  million.

Mr Burnham did die some twenty years ago indeed but as the adage goes; “The King is dead, long live the King”.

Curtains!!

Yours faithfully,
