Members of the deaf association in Guyana members yesterday paid a courtesy call President Donald Ramotar at his office where they outlined plans for the organization which include opening a centre for the deaf within the next six months to foster educational workshops designed specifically for the deaf, as well as cater for the hearing, particularly parents of deaf children; providing them with advice and the opportunity to learn sign language, the Government Information Agency said.
