A lucrative T20 cricket tournament with some six ounces of gold in prizes will get underway this weekend in Bartica.
The tournament, organized by DC Promotions and sponsored by Aruwai Enterprise, will see teams from Georgetown, Bartica, Berbice and Essequibo participating.
The tournament, which will continue tomorrow will see the semi0-finals and final taking place on April 20 and 21 respectively.
A number of companies have assisted with sponsorship including Scott Service Station, Bobby’s Bikers Crew, five Star Minerals and Coastal Minerals, Reuben and Millbourne Mining and Bice Trucking Service.
