A tobacco farmer who appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with unlawful wounding was put on $15,000 bail by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton.
Thirty-one-year-old Sean Marshall of 103 Meadowbrook Gardens, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to the charge of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Seeta Elliot on March 27 at Meadowbrook Gardens.
Marshal was about to go into the details of what had transpired but was cautioned that it was not the time for explanations but rather he could appeal for bail.
According to reports, the parties are known to each other. The matter is to be called again in Court One on May 15.
