(Trinidad Express) Former Trinidad and Tobago cricket captain Rangy Nanan is on the road to recovery after suffering a stroke on Saturday.
Nanan, who played one Test for the West Indies, was in attendance at Queen’s Park Oval for the Regional Four-Day Tournament semi-final between T&T and Barbados.
A source told the Express that Nanan left the Oval and suffered a stroke on his way to his home in Preysal.
He was taken to San Fernando General Hospital and his wife Martha confirmed that he was discharged yesterday.
She said the doctors got Nanan’s sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure under control and all that is left to do now is for him to get therapy for his right side.
