Grace Foundation a non – profit non-governmental organization with strong basketball linkages will stage a walk-a-thon tomorrow.
The walk-a-thon will commence at 7am from the West Ruimveldt Well and proceed to the Albouystown Market.
According to a release from Julian Haynes, founder and chairman of the organization, its mandate is to teach life skills through sports, specifically basketball.
Haynes has served as national basketball coach at several levels.
The release stated that the main purpose of the walk–a-thon was to raise funds for the sustainability of the organisation’s after school programme which is being conducted at the Tutorial High School.
