The semi-final games of the Victoria Kings/Healthy Choice Easter Cup tournament involving BV United versus Buxton Starz and Victoria Kings versus Golden Grove failed to kick off last weekend due to inclement weather and will be played tonight at the Victoria ground from 19:00hrs.
According to a press release, the four semi-final teams will each receive a scholarship from The Institute of Business Education (IBE) for a player or a member of their community who is eligible.
On Thursday IBE presented its sponsorship to the tournament organizer Dexter Grand and colleagues.
Director of the learning institution, Shivnarine Singh indicated that the school has always been interested in the development of sports and IBE is pleased to play an important role by offering the four scholarships.
Students receiving scholarships will be expected to maintain an above average performance and attendance in order to maintain the scholarships.
