Dear Editor,
In all the furore and noise surrounding CJ Chang and his ruling in the Greene case, let us not lose sight of two things:
a. Ian Chang is a superb jurist, one of the finest legal minds produced in Guyana and a good egg to boot.
b. Henry Greene should long ago have done the honourable thing and resigned quietly. If he does not resign, then he should be fired. He has tainted the office he held.
Simple situation, simple solution. No politics needed.
Yours faithfully,
John ‘Bill Cotton/Reform’ Mair
