The Guyana Football Federation-sponsored Under-16 Inter Association competition will continue today with four matches while the U-19 competition gets cracking tomorrow, a release from the GFF stated.
The competition is being sponsored by Humphrey’s Bakery and Farm Products along with the Continental Group of Companies, Sunburst Orange Juice brand.
At the Blairmont Community Centre ground from 3.45pm arch rivals Berbice and Georgetown will collide while at the Beterverwagting ground, East Bank will take on East Coast Demerara.
The other two matches will see Essequibo taking on Upper Demerara at the New Opportunity Corps (NOC) ground from 2pm while West Demerara and Bartica will clash at the Uitvlugt Community Centre Ground in the day’s final fixture from 4pm.
The Under-19 Inter Association tournament will also start with four matches.
East Coast will tackle Upper Demerara at the BV Ground from 1.45pm; Berbice will take on Essequibo at the Blairmont Community Centre Ground from 4pm and, at the Georgetown Football Club ground (GFC) in the city, East Bank will tackle Bartica from 2pm and Georgetown will oppose West Demerara from 4pm.
