With former West Indies U-15 player Assad Fudadin set to make his test debut for the West Indies today for the third and final Digicel Test against Australia in Dominica, one businessman has promised to make the event a memorable one for the 26-year-old Guyanese.
Sports enthusiast and businessman Manniram ‘Packer’ Shew of Shew’s General Store will begiving the Berbician G$300 for every run that he scores in his debut test match.
According to a press release, Shew has always followed the career of Fudadin and has been a father figure hence the endorsement.
The left-handed batsman Fudadin finished the 2012 regional season as the second hjighest run scorer behind Narsingh Deonarine. His 576 runs were scored at an average of 48.
Fudadin is a former West Indies `A’ player.
