Dear Editor,
When the November general elections results were announced there was a marriage of convenience with anticipated testing times that could result in a divorce and/or political squabbles.
The 2012 Budget was and is indeed such a challenge. The opposition parties have cast their nets for the “fat cats,” but it seems that from what we have viewed on NCN their catch might have instead taken the lean and vulnerable cats, some of whom could be their supporters. To call this collateral damage is not to put a human face to the issue. The bait may have to be changed for the opposition parties to realize their objectives. This political union (government/opposition) requires give and take from both sides.
Yours faithfully,
