Dear Editor,
Prior to the October 1992 elections, the Guyana Chronicle, GTV 10 and GBC (NCN today) and GNA (GINA today) only carried the government’s point of view, shutting out the views of the opposition and the wider society, just as they still do today. Now, had the outcome back then been a PNC minority government and a majority opposition comprising mainly the PPP, how would you suppose those same PPP people bawling today, would have reacted to a cut in the allocation to GNA?
Yours faithfully,
Gerhard Ramsaroop
