In the opening semi-final Universal Solutions Tigers were aided by a five-wicket haul from medium pacer Michael Newland which propelled them to a six-wicket victory over East Berbice Warriors winning with six overs to spare.
The second semi-final saw the Berbice Titans defeating West Berbice All Stars by five wickets with 4.2 overs to spare.

West Berbice All Stars 113 all out in 19.3 overs (Keith Fraser 36, Karamdat Bissoondial 32, Eon Hooper 4-18, Rajiv Ivan 2-22, Gudakesh Motie-Kanhai 2-24, Devendra Bishoo 1-15); Berbice Titans 117 for 5 in 15.2 overs (Jason Sinclair 32 not out, Rajiv Ivan 19, Keon Joseph 3-12, Keith Fraser 1-18, Brandon Bess 1-36).
The third place playoff will also take place tomorrow at the Blairmont Community Centre ground.
According to the tournament organizer, the aim of the tournament which has over $500,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs is to expose a mixture of players from all over the county. Trophies will be awarded to the two top teams, man-of-the-match in the final, best batsman and best bowler while the officials will receive medallions.
