Man shot at brother’s home

A businessman was last Friday shot while at his brother’s Cove and John, East Coast Demerara house and police are investigating the circumstances. Police said in a press release yesterday that they are investigating an incident that occurred around 13:20 hrs where businessman Neil Beer, 51, was shot to his back while at the home of his brother who is a licensed firearm holder. Beer has been admitted to a private hospital for medical attention.
