Police say that at about 0045h yesterday, mechanic Mark Dookhie, 28 years of Aishalton, South Rupununi, was allegedly shot to his back with an arrow by a man with whom he earlier had an argument while they were imbibing. Dookhie has been admitted to the GPHC, police said.
The suspect has not yet been arrested.
