A Partnership for National Unity on Saturday said that Sandra V. Jones will be sworn in today as the new GECOM Opposition Commissioner to replace the late Robert Williams.
In a statement, it said that the selection of Jones comes after “extended consultations, undertaken by the Leader of the Opposition, Mr David Granger, with all Opposition Parties and other Stakeholders”.
The statement said that apart from gender balance on the Commission, “Ms.Jones is eminently well qualified academically and brings to GECOM more than 25 years of experience as a Human Resources Management and Organisational Development specialist.”
