A post-mortem examination performed by Pathologist Dr Nehaul Singh on the remains of Devon ‘Luke’ Gibson revealed that he died as a result of asphyxiation due to drowning.
Eight-year-old Gibson of Lot 9-10 Queen Street, South Cummingsburg disappeared on April 28 following a swimming expedition at the Kingston seawall.
His decomposing body washed up at the Hampton Court foreshore, Essequibo Coast on Wednesday last. The St Margaret’s Primary School student was laid to rest yesterday.
