The Mayor and City Council is initiating plans to arrest the further decline of Georgetown, at a stakeholder meeting planned for today at the Pegasus Hotel.
In a press release, the City Council said it has been challenged to meet “the expanding needs of the city with a contracting revenue base. All of our revenue earning proposals have been put down by the powers that be.” However the meeting is expected to address this and to initiate plans to rescue the city, as it marks the 200th anniversary
