Two men who allegedly robbed a policeman of a pistol and matching rounds, property of the Guyana Police Force, as he was moonlighting as a taxi driver, were remanded to prison following their appearance at the New Amsterdam Court on Wednesday.
The duo, Shawn Wood, called ‘Tall Man’, 36, of Sophia, East Coast Demerara, and Andrew Davis, known as ‘Fat Man’, 25, of Lot 3026 North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, have been charged also with attempting to commit a felony,
