The Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association has donated the sum of $100,000 to the Demerara Cricket Club which is this year celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Ricky Deonarain, vice president of GFSCA told Stabroek Sport that the donation was made following a friendly night match between a Bedi Ramjiewan XI and a GFSCA XI.
The donation is to be used to purchase a brush cutter, Deonarain said.
