Pizza Boys on Tuesday had a grand opening at the Guyoil Food Court, Diamond, East Bank Demerara with the launching of their new, soft, thin crust pizza baked by an experienced chef out of Trinidad and Tobago.
The new fast food outlet will offer persons on the East Bank a taste that is different from the other pizza franchises, since their pizzas have special toppings such as steak and roasted peanuts and are strictly halaal.
There are over nine varieties of pizzas to select from and customers can have a mixture of different toppings if they wish.
Owner of the new Pizza Boys, Naeem Nasir, said that Pizza Boys is not only about pizzas which is its main focus, but persons can also try their chicken wings and confectioneries such as a wide variety of ice creams, cakes and fries.
Pizza Boys which is a Trinidadian company is the first of its kind in Guyana and employs about 30 persons, according to Nasir who also said that the public responded very well on their opening day.
Pizza Boys will also be offering delivery within the areas of Craig and New Providence and is open from 10am – 10pm weekdays and from 10am to 11pm on weekends.
