The trial of Dwight Da Silva who is accused of killing businessman Barbot Paul began yesterday in the High Court before Justice Roxane George and will continue today.
Da Silva is charged with murdering Paul who was a shop owner at Kaneville, East Bank Demerara on August 6 2006. Paul who was described as an outspoken fighter against crime was shot dead by a gunmen who stole his firearm and tried to get his shotgun out of a safe on the night of August 6.
