The suspect in the murder of Corentyne security guard, Karamchand Panchoo has been released on station bail.
Crime Chief Seelall Persaud said yesterday that the man who had given conflicting information to investigators is still being treated as a suspect and that investigations are continuing.
He said that another person was detained in connection with the killing but was released after a few hours of questioning.
Panchoo’s body was found around 00:35 hours on Monday at a poultry farm located at Number 19 Village (Don Robin) Corentyne.
