Macorp is launching a new CAT Product Link remote monitoring system aimed at helping business owners locate and protect their equipment.
In a press release, the company said the device features robust new cellular hardware and an intuitive web-based use interface called Vision Link which provides information that will help owners efficiently manage their machines and equipment.
“The all-new Cat Product Link helps you get that information to the right people at just the right time – so you can maximise efficiency, raise productivity and lower owning and operating costs for your fleet,” it added.
Further, in addition to the conventional benefits of Product Link, owners will have access to valuable information. New functionality includes management of maintenance by mileage, engine and transmission PTO usage updates, alerts for loss of main battery power, notification of non-authorised movement during “key-off” intervals and access to odometer readings, the release said.
