(Jamaica Gleaner) Two men who tried to rob a group of residents in Catherine Hall, Montego Bay in St James this morning were killed by a licensed firearm holder.
Reports from the Constabulary Communication Network are that about 12:30 a.m. a group of people were gathered in a section of the community when two armed men approached them and attempted to rob them.
An alarm was raised and the licensed firearm holder challenged the gunmen. A shootout ensued and both robbers were killed. They have not been identified.
