The body of a man, who police suspect was beaten after he stole two pieces of scrap metal from a Norton Street dealer, was discovered at the back of the Princes Street incinerator this morning.
Dead is Keith Bowen, 36, called ‘Bowie’ of 51 Norton Street, Lodge. His body bore multiple wounds. It is alleged that he stole two pieces of scrap metal from the dealer and was beaten and his body later dumped at the back of the incinerator. Police are looking for several suspects who they believe participated in the beating. No one has yet been arrested.
