In a press release, the Foundation said its board members are Karen Abrams, Janick Arjoon, Susana Jamal, Ena Ramsaroop, Iana Seales, Varshnie Singh, Oluatoyin Samantha Alleyne-Williams and founder Stella Ramsaroop.
Stella Ramsaroop was also elected Executive Chairperson and Janick Arjoon vice-chairperson.
“I am very excited about this opportunity to work with such a dynamic group of women, Each one of the S4 board members is a leader in her won right and we share the same passion for helping and supporting women,” Ramsaroop said. “If ever there was a team that epitomized the S4 Foundation motto, “Sisters helping Sisters,” this is it,” she added.
The Foundation will continue to work on several projects that it started since its inception in January. It will conduct other projects when its D’Urban Street office officially opens after renovations have been completed.
