Not Dr Harding

In this week’s Sunday Stabroek we published an article on suicide, in which we quoted Psychologist Dr Faith Harding extensively. The article indicated that Dr Harding had lost a son to suicide four years ago. This is incorrect. The woman we interviewed for the article was in fact, a woman who had lost the last of her five children to suicide four years ago, but who had asked to remain anonymous. Stabroek News apologises to Dr Harding for the error and for any embarrassment the article might have caused.
