BIRMINGHAM, England, CMC – Rain has forced the abandonment of the opening day of the third and final Test between England and West Indies at Edgbaston here today.
Not a ball was bowled as the adverse weather ensured ground-staff kept the playing area covered throughout the day.
No toss was spun and neither side managed to declare a final XI.
West Indies trail the three-Test series 0-2 after losses at Lord’s and Trent Bridge.
