The Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) is inviting its under-13 players and their parent/s to a meeting this evening at 6:00 pm at the club’s pavilion to discuss matters pertaining to a proposed tour to St. Kitts in August.
There will also be a pre-season training session commencing today for all first division, second division and junior players.
Special sessions will be held for the under-13 players in preparation for St Kitts and Nevis under-13 cricket competition.
The training sessions will be conducted by Coach Garvin Nedd, and are part of a series of activities to celebrate the club’s 100th anniversary.
The exercise is aimed at enhancing the fitness, knowledge and the performance of the players on and off the field as DCC seeks to maintain its status as one of the leading cricket clubs in Guyana.
