More than fifteen schools from different regions are scheduled to take part in the windball tournament which started early in March this year.
Regions 3,4,5,6 and 10 are scheduled to participate in this leg of the competition.
With Georgetown having the largest number of persons participating, it was noted that this competition attracted more than fifteen schools across the country.
The teams are scheduled to play in Linden (Region 10) later in the tournament and this competition will see seven schools competing in this region.
According to Julius David, a volunteer, the competition has been going well so far.
He stated that it was a hard task to get sponsorship for the female segment of the competition but they managed to meet some of the expenses and were able to push the competition to this stage.
He emphasized that windball is organized from primary to secondary schools and they will be having a secondary format for windball this academic year.
