A police constable accused of raping a 14-year-old girl was yesterday admitted to bail in the sum $500,000 when he appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The allegation against Quinton Conway is that on December 29, 2011 at Port Kaituma, he raped a 14-year-old girl.
The accused was not required to plead to the indictable charge when it was read to him.
