(Jamaica Gleaner) A man who attempted to leave the island with cocaine valued at J$9 .5 million is under investigation by detectives from the Trans National Crime and Narcotics Division.
The Customs Department said the 24 pounds of cocaine was found in a video game belonging to man, who was slated to board a flight at the Norman Manley International Airport yesterday.
Customs said the man was travelling on a Guyanese passport.
It said he initially cleared customs with a laptop bag and a suitcase and exited the baggage hall.
