(Jamaica Observer) Three more men were killed by police in Four Paths, Clarendon yesterday.
This brings to six the number of men killed by police bullets over a 24 hour period.
The men have not yet been identified.
The police said they seized a shotgun and a .38 revolver during the incident, which occurred at a house minutes after 4:00 pm.
Three men were fatally shot by police in Ensom City, St Catherine last night.
Two of the men have been identified by their aliases ‘Killa Frog’ and ‘Danny’. The third man has not yet been identified.
Police reportedly went to a premises at Gordon Boulevard in the community in search of wanted men and claimed they were fired on. The police say they returned the fire and the three were killed.
Two illegal guns were seized in the incident police say.
The police claim ‘Danny’ was wanted for a murder committed in Duhaney Park, St Andrew.
However the irate residents claim the men were gunned down in cold blood by the agents of the state.
