The second edition of the Goodwill relays will be on tomorrow at the Eve Leary Sports Club ground from 10:00hrs after a one-year break.
The event which is a spinoff of the Seventh Day Adventist Youth Congress sports meet normally held in October is being run off after inclement weather had the games put off last year.
According to the organizer of the event, Darrel Gittins, the games will see the federations that finished in the top eight of last year’s youth congress event.
Gittins also related that national clubs such as the Police Sports Club, the Running Brave Athletics Club and the Guyana Defence Force Sports Club are all expected to participate in an invitational relay event.
Calphays who are the defending federation for the relay event will be looking to hold on to their crown as they also won the last edition of the youth congress sports last October.
Meanwhile the event is expected to be a real crowd pleaser as the organizers believe that it will be a day of intense competition..
