At about 1400h yesterday, police say that Eon Clarke, 47 years, of Dahlia Street, Wismar, was sitting on the top of the cab of a motor lorry that was travelling along the 48 Miles Mabura Trail, Upper Demerara, when he fell off and suffered injuries.
He was taken to the Mackenzie Hospital, where he was pronounced DOA.
The driver of the vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
