Transparency Institute of Guyana (TIG) says the public must demand accountability from persons in positions of trust, during an interactive session held recently with a group of adult students.
According to a press release, the presentation was made by TIG President and Attorney-at-Law Gino Persaud in a three-hour session that was “highly participatory, even controversial at times as the participants defined and identified corruption locally and internationally.” The group looked at the effects of corruption such as undermining democracy,
