(Barbados Nation) The man who has held more positions in West Indies cricket than any other is optimistic that the regional team will return to the top of the world game.
Barbados’ latest knight, Sir Wesley Hall, is quietly confident West Indies will emerge from a prolonged slump that dates back to the late 1990s as the formidable force they were in previous years.
Speaking to the WEEKEND NATION in a wide-ranging interview yesterday, Sir Wesley identified the existing talent and development structures in place as the primary reasons for his optimism.
“In addition to the things we must put in place to guarantee success, I believe we have the available talent. It abounds. We just need to put things in place,” Sir Wesley said.
