The Muslim Youth League (MYL) of Guyana says its programme of activities for hosting Sunni scholars Shaykh Faisal Hamid Abdur Razak and Qari Syed Sadaqat will start tomorrow at the Peter’s Hall Masjid.
According to a press release from MYL Public Relations Officer Sidi Neil Bacchus, the programme was organised by Al Faisaliyyah Fraternity of Guyana and the Nasir Foundation Inc and will be held from June 28 to July 10.
The two scholars are expected to arrive today at the CBJ International Airport at 1.30 am. Their first engagement will be tomorrow at the Peter’s Hall Masjid at 12.20 pm; the Masjid Muhammad at 6 pm and at Aurora, Essequibo at 6 pm.
On Sunday, sessions will be held at 6 pm at Providence, Berbice; On Monday, at Albion from 2 pm and Blairmont at 6 pm. On Tuesday, meetings will be held at the Diamond New Housing Scheme at 6 pm; at Good Hope on Wednesday at 6 pm and at Anna Catherina on Thursday at 6 pm. Friday’s session will be held at the Queenstown, MYO at 12.20 pm.
