Scotiabank in partnership with the Caribbean Broadcast Media Partnership (CBMP) is hosting Regional HIV Testing Day 2012 starting today, at its branches in Guyana and across the Caribbean.
Scotiabank Guyana Country Manager Amanda St Aubyn said the bank “is pleased to partner with CBMP to help heighten public interest in and awareness of HIV testing.” According to a press release, select branches in 16 countries in the region are hosting free clinics.
In Guyana, clinics will be held at the Robb Street branch today and at the Carmichael Street, Bartica and New Amsterdam branches tomorrow. On Sunday a clinic will be held at Parika. Trained personnel from the National AIDS Programme Secretariat will be on site to conduct free testing and counselling services.
