A 100% pass rate at the National Grade Six Exams was recorded for the Al-Ghazali and Meten-Meer-Zorg Islamic academies operated by the Central Islamic Organization of Guyana (CIOG).
The three top performers were Ijaz Mursalin, Jameel Mohamed and Shahid Hussien all of whom gained places at Queen’s College. The other top achievers were Saudiya Ali (Bishops High), Aasim Baksh (St Stanislaus) and Aasiya Khan who gained a place at St Roses High according to a press release issued by the CIOG.
All of the six students were placed among the national top one hundred achievers at the recent exams the release added.
